I Made It!

I was just recently accepted into the "I Made It! market" Pittsburgh's South Side exposed artist's market.
The date's are July 10, 11, & 12.
I am so very honored to be so successful lately and to be apart of so many great craft shows and events. I have never been to Pittsburgh before and I am very excited to enjoy the city. The picture is of the of the town square in the heart of South Side Works, it looks amazing all lit up at night.

Hair of the Dog Craft Show Sunday

I have a table at the Hair of the Dog Craft Show on June 28th. Come and drink free Pabst and buy amazing crafts from some talented artists. The show is from 12:00 to 7:00 at The 941 Theater at 941 North Front Street. It's indoors, so it will be a good way to get out of the heat if you don't have ac.

We Have The Cool Guests

Savannah is an amazing city. Dan and I went there a few weeks ago for a four day trip and a good friends wedding. It was the first time Dan had ever flew and he handled it better then I did, my stomach doesn't appreciate it. We stayed in this hilarious motel called the Thunder Bird Inn. Everything was maintained and restored to its original 70's motif. After arriving we were greeted by a woman with entirely too much make up and decked out in a black dress who offered us turn down service and moon pies! Dan and I loved Factors Walk and the cobble stone streets. Every couple of blocks there are fountains and trees...nothing like Philly. one of our favorite places is this daiquiri bar called Chili Willies where the whole bar is just a wall of slushy machines full of liquored up frozen mixtures. They range from Bahama Mama's to a drink they call "Call a Cab", because it is loaded up with grain alcohol. Dan's favorite part was that we could order a drink and then walk down the street with it and shop. My other favorite stop was a pizza place called Vinnie Van Gogo's.... amazing pizza and they even served Lager. It was so nice and clean and people are friendly. Savannah is one place I would love to visit again.

Fun times for all...

I had a great time at the Art Star Craft Bazaar this past weekend. Thanks so much to Meghan and Erin for putting on such a great event. For my first "real" craft show, I think I didn't do to bad. My only regret is when my first tent took flight and went straight up a wrought iron fence and mangled its self...ha.. that was fun. Lucky, no one got hurt and my stuff didn't get ruined. This happened on Saturday, Sunday I had cinder blocks to tie down the fort.(The pics are from Sunday) Thank you to all who bought a piece, I hope you enjoy. I also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely lady Gretchen of Bird Queen Designs and her fabulous friend Jeanette. Her and I made a trade and I am very excited about owning one of her pieces. I had so much fun doing this event and I hope to do more in the future. I also have to thank my mom for helping me out each day with my set up and making the super cute pouches for my jewelry.
